Raffle for Scholarship
Chapter Members,Take part in "fundraising for scholarships"! The AMTA national convention is only 2 states and 8 months away. Please join the chapter in this rewarding* and collective fundraising activity. All money raised will defray the travel cost of appointed members who will represent the chapter at the national convention in Minneapolis, September 22-25, 2010.

Raffle instructions:
- Each member will hold their own "mini-raffle" with their clients; all proceeds earned in each "mini-raffle" will go directly into the scholarship fund.
- Each member will donate one or two massage therapy gift certificates as their raffle prize(s) within their "mini-raffle."
- Sell tickets to clients, friends and family between the dates of March 1-April 31, 2010. (Make copies of the enclosed tickets or request more by emailing: Linda Lemire.)
- Use the enclosed flier to post raffle information at your office. (See page 3.)
- Hold your drawing during the week of May 1.
- Send all proceeds by May 1 to Linda Lemire, Chapter Treasurer; 2312 Elm Street, Billings, MT 59101. Or hand-deliver your proceeds to Linda at the chapter spring retreat at Boulder Hot Springs.
*REWARD: All members who sell $100 or more of tickets and return their raffle proceeds by May 1 will receive a voucher to waive their $20 chapter fee on their next year's AMTA membership!
Massage Raffle for Clients
Help to send massage therapists of the AMTA-MT Chapter to the National American Massage Therapy Association Convention in Minneapolis, September 2010.(Approximate expense: $1500/per person; $6000 total.)
Attending the national massage therapy convention in Minneapolis is an opportunity for massage therapists to:
- take part in quality continuing education,
- learn about advanced research within the field,
- bring back new techniques to his/her clients,
- take part in leadership training and governmental processes within the organization
- network within the national community of talented massage therapists, educators, volunteers and venders.
Thank you for your support of the Massage Therapy profession! All money from this raffle will go directly to the national convention scholarship fund.

8 tickets for $20
